The following official guidelines apply to age relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidate: Five Years
- Candidates from OBC: Three Years
- PwBD: 10 years (EWS/General).

Monthly Stipend
Stipend | Rs 15000/- | Every month, Canara Bank will deposit 10,500/- into the apprentice's account. |
The government's part of the stipend of Rs 4500 would be credited directly to the apprentice's bank account via DBT, following existing norms. |
What is the Selection Process?
Merit List Criteria:
- Based on 12th Std (HSC/10+2) or Diploma marks/%. If many candidates have the same percentage, the ranking will be based on age (older candidates rank higher).
- Candidates with a CGPA/OGPA must convert it to a percentage using the Board’s standards.
- A certificate from the appropriate authorities must be given for verification.
Percentage Calculation:
- Divide the total marks earned in all topics across semesters/years by the aggregate maximum marks.
- To calculate the percentage, multiply the value by 100.
Document Verification:
- The merit list is created based on the information supplied during the online application.
- Discrepancies discovered during document verification will result in disqualification.
- Local language proficiency will be checked during this procedure.
Final Selection Process
- The final selection process will involve verifying eligibility for the training seat and the information provided in the online application.
- Passing the local language test for the selected state.
- Be deemed medically fit as required by the bank.

- Continue to the section on careers.
- Make sure to choose the Apprenticeship Act of 1961 option under Recruitment, then Enrollment of Graduate Apprentices.
- To complete the online registration procedure, provide all of the required information, including your contact information, educational history, and personal data.
- Place your signature, picture, and academic qualifications in the relevant papers.
- Check to see if there is an application cost.
Important Instructions Before Applying Online for Canara Bank Graduate Apprentice
Scan the following documents:
- Photograph (4.5 x 3.5 cm)
- Signature (not in capital letters)
- Left thumb impression (alternatives available if thumb is absent, such as other fingers or toes)
- Handwritten declaration (text is available below).
Document Scanning Requirements:
- Ensure that scanned photos are crisp and not smeared or blurred.
- Handwritten declaration wording (in English, no capital letters): “I, _______ (name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted in the application form is correct, true, and valid.” I will present the supporting documentation as needed.
- The declaration must be handwritten by the candidate. Others’ typed or written submissions will be refused.
